Handmade in the gateway to the Lake District, The Little Lakeland Soap Company aims to bring the natural goodness of essential oils to your body, mind and senses. The company began in 2016 when founder, Siobhan Dawson, decided to share her love of essential oils and her huge belief of the healing qualities they provide.

After training as a beauty therapist and gaining further qualifications in aromatherapy Siobhan worked for a number of years in the industry, gaining huge experience. In December 2014 she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia (a chronic pain condition) and later with chronic fatigue syndrome, also known as ME, both of which have no cure. While she had seen the benefits aromatherapy had done for her clients over the years, she now began to look at ways she could treat herself with this natural remedy.

At the end of 2016 The Little Lakeland Soap Company was born, combining 100% pure essential oils and quality natural ingredients into beautifully luxurious products. Siobhan hopes that the products in her range will help other people who have experienced conditions like hers, and can in fact be used for many of life’s niggles as well. Each product is handmade in Kendal, where Siobhan lives, and aim to relieve tension, stress and lift spirits all whilst smelling amazing!
